Opinion, as far as I’ll venture one.
Unemployment about to spike, recession just around the corner, and I can’t get a good green salad for less than $14 …
… But y’all want to cap for the equivalent of ‘Black’ Sarah Palin?
In all of the fervor … pressure of the social media posts and the memes, nothing about ANY policies.
That’s telling.
Luxury, opulence, and the perpetual illusive chase of equality sans equity at the level of those Cristóbal Colón-izing them truly dulls the senses of ‘Black’ people.
Most underestimate the effects of Cognitive Dissonance, Stockholm Syndrome, and Hestia Complex in people who work against their self-interests.
That’s in both political parties. ‘Race’ notwithstanding.
In more than 50 years, not a single ‘Black’ person has developed a strategy or a proper sociopolitical movement that DIRECTLY addresses the reality of adverse historical policies, that effectively make ‘Black’ people a permanent underclass like that of the Dravidians of India, with continued Colón–ial military occupation.
It’s not enough that we were miseducated since the desegregation of schools.
We seem to somehow forget the historical record and narratives of what these administrations have done ‘For’ us …
… And what happened with that ‘Equity’.
Nixon declared the “War on Drugs” in 1971 with the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to a tune of $400 million that targeted ‘Black’ communities:
If you think I’m mistaken about that ‘Black’ reference in that sentence, I’ll clear that up later.
Reagan ramped up the Anti-Drug Abuse Act in 1986 and budgeted $1.7 billion, and in 1989, when GHW Bush staged that fake drug bust across from The White House it was $5 billion. When he left office in 1992 it was more than $12 billion.
$12 billion on criminalizing ‘Black’ people but, no equity ‘For‘ ‘Black’ people.
Don’t forget that the policy had widespread bipartisan support including “significant support” from the ‘Black’ Boule.
The proverbial ‘Cherry’ on top?
After Hip Hop’s swing towards Gangsta Rap in 1989 (conveniently coincidental considering), besides the secret meeting between record executives about prisons outside of Los Angeles, and Eazy E’s donation to The Republicans Inner Circle in 1991, Bill Clinton put his ‘Willie’ in the pie with the 1994 Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 …
… Written and shepherded by none other than then Senator Joe Biden.
$33 billion spent.
I hope you’re keeping track. Did any of y’all get a cut?
Remember, this is what these people, the “1st Black People”, at all levels have done ‘For’ ‘Black’ People.
So, to rephrase the one question every single ‘Black’ voter needs to ask EVERY POLITICIAN is …
I wouldn’t trust anyone who does not supply a satisfactory answer.
However, I don’t expect that anyone ‘Black’ will ask that question for them to answer.
Isn’t it ironic that not a single hybrid European had an ounce of wealth up until they subdued and exploited Africa, India, and the Americas?
But no one, save Africans, demands that comes to an end:
That makes it even more perplexing that so-called ‘Black’ people are bullying their own to support a ‘Black’ Sarah Palin who said herself that she won’t do anything for autochthonous ‘Black’ people.
But, she sure as hell did a lot to ‘Black’ people for the ‘1st Black People.’
Note Ibrahim Traore also rightly framed the problem with the Sahel’s own Boule ‘Salon Slaves’, who “… want to live like the master, to satisfy the master and do everything the master dictates to them.”
Hence, ‘Black’ Sarah Palin of South Asian descent.
Having the discussion of which is the genesis of this article, I was asked, “Are ‘Black’ people really that stupid?”
For autochthonous “... Mauritanians and their Indian associates” capping for an identity that was initially applied to the 1st ‘Black’ (which means ‘Pale’, or ‘Bleach’) people, who have not in as much the same time tried to hold on to nor investigate the power of their nationality and nativity tied to their own land?
Seems kinda obvious.
